2015 Training Weekends

We host regular training weekends throughout the year, and welcome visitors both to watch or participate. Our helpers, Jay Belcher and Christopher Smith, are accomplished dog trainers and competitors who always come armed with great insight and coaching skills. Both can help with your obedience and tracking foundation and problem solving, as well as the protection phase. Let us know if you’d like to attend a training weekend.

2015 TRIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Big Sky Working Dogs is scheduling their annual trial for Sept. 12-13, 2015. We would be offering all titles with FH and FH 2 by early registration only. AWMA judge Glenn Stephenson has agreed to preside. Woot!

Fall Roundup AKC shows

Congratulations to Samie and Dax and Janice and Vrisco for completing their CDs at the Helena shows, and to Samie and Zappa for finishing their CDX. Aahzi and Anne got two legs and two first places in Open A. Thanks to club members Cari and Julia (and Jarrod!) for your help in stewarding – we expect to see you in the ring at the March trials! And huge thanks to Carol for taking on the job of Obedience/Rally Chair for four days. Big Sky Working Dogs was out in force!

A huge thank you goes to Jay Belcher for his support and training. With his guidance Kody achieved his UN1 (United Noseworks Novice) Title, with individual titles in Containers, Interiors, Exteriors, and Vehicle searches. Way to go Kody!
